They govern your use of thecreditwell.com and any services we provide. By using the Site or engaging us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
CreditWell is a credit repair organization under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA). We help individuals work on their credit reports, provide credit education, and — separately — introduce qualified clients to third-party lending partners.
You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to use our services. By engaging us, you represent that you meet these requirements and that information you provide is true.
By submitting our consultation form, you consent to receive communications from CreditWell by email, phone, and SMS regarding your consultation, scheduling, follow-ups, and account updates. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for SMS opt-in data handling.
Federal law gives you important protections when working with a credit repair organization:
Before you sign a service agreement, we provide a written disclosure titled "Consumer Credit File Rights Under State and Federal Law" that summarizes these rights in detail.
CreditWell does not charge customers for services before those services have been performed. In compliance with CROA, our service agreements are structured so you pay for credit repair services after the work is performed, not before.
You may cancel within three business days of signing for any reason and receive a full refund of any amounts paid. After that, your service agreement sets out the cancellation procedure. CreditWell does not collect fees for services not yet performed.
CreditWell may receive compensation from lending partners when a referred customer's loan is funded. This compensation does not change the rate, terms, or cost of any loan to you. You are always free to apply for credit through any lender of your choosing.
CreditWell does not guarantee any specific credit score increase, removal of any particular item, or loan approval. Results vary. Information on the Site is for general informational purposes and is not legal, tax, or financial advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreditWell will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. CreditWell's total liability will not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under CROA.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Effective" date and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
